Among other features, my biggest pro and con for Vallarta are:
PRO: 2-story suite dreams suite for about the same price as 1-story Tulum dreams suite
CON: No chapel. But there is an oceanview terrace for weddings, which is what we wanted to do in the first place, so maybe that's not really a con afterall.
Hmmm.
We've sent a request form to see if the dates we like are available, so still waiting to hear back from Puerto Vallarta and Tulum.

This guy at work is from around there, I think, at least he has been there, and said that it is really nice.
I've actually never been anywhere in Mexico, but PV is supposed to be one of the more scenic areas and the reviews we read say it's "safer than your hometown."
Oh, and the water is safe to drink! The city of PV has invested millions of dollars of water to make sure the water systems are purified.
Millions of dollars of water? I mean millions of dollars to make sure their water systems are purified.
